Thram bests Sunday field at Huset's Speedway; Looks to defend win in Bull Haulers Brawl
Sanborn, Minnesota's Christopher Thram was the man to beat Sunday night at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, not only winning the 25-lap main event, but doing so after winning his respective heat race. The $5,000 victory was Thram's first of the 2026 season; a great rebound, as well as momentum kick, after a 16th-place run one night prior at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. It should be noted that Knoxville's surface allowed for minimal advancement, as rubber took over shortly after the start.
With Sunday's Mother's Day program being Huset's Speedway's first of 2026, Thram's victory also propelled him to the top of the track standings, holding a three-point margin over Riley Goodno with the Bull Haulers Brawl coming up next on Sunday, May 17.
