Thram competes with World of Outlaws at River Cities and Red River

Christopher Thram made the five-hour trek to River Cities Speedway on Friday as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series rolled into the quarter-mile oval.

After wrapping up the night with a B-Main appearance in the opener, Thram continued his weekend on Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway, where he turned some heads by outrunning Sprint Car icon Donny Schatz in his heat race to score the eight-lap victory. He followed that performance with a fifth-place effort in the dash and went on to register a 15th-place finish in the 30-lap main event.

Thram’s weekend concluded on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, where he crossed the line in 17th.
