Thram follows World of Outlaws to Missouri

After a couple weeks off to regroup, Christopher Thram rejoined the national stage this past weekend, taking on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series during the two-night Spring Classic at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri.

Part of a formidable 61-car field, Thram battled through Friday’s preliminary program but came up short of the feature, finishing 14th in a tough B Feature lineup.

On Saturday, the Sanborn, Minnesota native returned with renewed focus on Saturday. A strong third-place finish in the B Feature secured him a spot in the $12,000-to-win main event. In the 40-lap finale, Thram brought his weekend to a close with a 24th-place result against a field stacked with the nation’s top talent.
