Christopher Thram drives to 12th in Texas Two-Step opener at Cotton Bowl

Christopher Thram remained in the Lone Star State this past weekend as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series invaded Cotton Bowl Speedway (Paige, Texas) for the Texas Two-Step.

Joining 25 Sprinters at the 3/8-mile oval, Thram was still adjusting to the track in his heat race but his pace picked up as the night unfolded. With a Last Chance Showdown victory transferring him into the feature, Christopher marched forward seven spots to register a 12th-place finish.

On Saturday, Christopher's third-place finish in his heat positioned him fourth row for the $12,000-to-win Texas Two-Step finale. Struggling to find balance in the 30-lap affair, Thram faded to 16th at the checkers.
