Thram perseveres with Outlaws at Huset's; Cedar Lake IRA doubleheader on deck
Christopher Thram's South Dakota weekend with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series was hard-fought, but when the dust finally settled, it was perseverance that stood highest, battling his way through Sunday's Huset's Speedway Last Chance Showdown (LCS) to earn a spot in the evening's 40-lap A-Main. Thram was forced into the 12-lap LCS due to missing a heat race transfer spot by one position; he finished sixth with only five making the cut.
Thram's A-Main effort ended with a 24th-place score; he started 21st.
Saturday's World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series appearance at Huset's Speedway was eventually called off due to weather.
Christopher Thram will continue his 2025 season with an IRA Outlaw Sprint Series doubleheader at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6. To learn more, visit IRA online at www.irasprints.com.
