Christopher Thram tackles High Bank Nationals at Huset's Speedway

Christopher Thram went head-to-head with some of the nation’s best in familiar territory over the weekend, as Huset’s Speedway hosted the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series for the prestigious High Bank Nationals.

The action kicked off with the Huset’s Hustle on Wednesday and Thursday. Thram finished 12th in Wednesday’s Last Chance Showdown and scratched from Thursday’s B-Main, ending his run at the $100,000-to-win Huset's Hustle.

He rebounded Friday in impressive fashion, advancing to the High Bank Nationals preliminary feature with a third-to-first charge in his heat race, besting the likes of Garet Williamson and Bill Balog. Thram nearly broke into the top 10 in the 35-lap main event, ultimately settling for an 11th-place finish.

On Saturday, his bid for the $250,000 High Bank Nationals finale came to a close with a 10th-place effort in the Last Chance Showdown.
